THANKSGIVING (November 17 2006)
LOCAL PIZZERIA SERVES UP THANKSGIVING SPIRIT
FOR PEOPLE STRUGGLING IN THE OZARKS
For the second year in a row, Luigi’s Pizza Kitchen is putting the pizza away and serving up a traditional Thanksgiving dinner to needy families and individuals in the community. On Thanksgiving Day, the Branson pizzeria will close its doors to paying customers in order to plate-up free turkey dinners for anyone in need of a hot meal and some good cheer. The dinner will be held on Thanksgiving Day, November 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Luigi’s North location in Branson (next to Country Mart on Hwy 248).
“When we opened Luigi’s eight years ago, part of our mission was to be able to give back to the communities in which we operate. We’re in the business of feeding people, and on Thanksgiving, we’re proud to open our doors to anyone who needs a helping hand,” says Chris Jordan, owner and operator of Luigi’s Pizza Kitchen.
Those who need a place to go on Thanksgiving are welcome to come be part of the Luigi’s family this holiday. No advance reservations are needed for the event. Come by any time between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to be served. Meals will include turkey, bread dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, vegetables, beverages and of course, pumpkin pie.
